Disgracefully did not attend last night's Nurnberg.  Instead, crashed a neo-liberalism party in Itzapalapa.  (N_M_ was not in attendance -- I suspect she is over her objectivist phase.)  Had sangria sweetened with alumbre. Found most of those in attendance to be shallow, but not in the good way.  In the small hours, stole away with a university student into the poisoned corn fields.  Made love in the toxic mud, but my state of inebriation was one of numbness and not of elation; shamefully faked orgasm just so we would finish.  I cannot remember the last time I did that.

T___ spoke of an exhibition for music and cuisine that only appeal to artificially-heightened senses, possibly of a prurient nature.  I was offered a chance to participate. I fear I am still shamelessly derivative and without original thought, and I respectfully declined, for the nonce.

Heard rumors of a closing of a popular bondage-and-discipline bar in Layleaux Town.  Apparently this person had it out with that person, except that person had all the authority.  While I cannot say I found the place to my liking, I know it will displace a great many who did.  Such grist for the mill only reinforces my self-counsel to stay out of the affairs of civic planning.
